Solvents, Mediums, Varnishes & Gesso Primers are an essential part of painting. Paint is only as usable as the mediums you add to it. Likewise you need a good ground to paint onto so a good quality primed surface is important.
Protection of the finished work is also an important element to your work, so choose a recognised brand of varnish to apply once the painting is finished and fully dry.

Use prior to an Artist’s or Dammar Varnish, this UV resistant gloss varnish gives temporary protection to recently completed oil paintings. It is quick drying, can be overpainted, balances out surface sheen and allows the paint film to cure through the varnish. Ensure painting is touch dry. Use thinly. Shake well before use.

How to Use

A multi-purpose clear acrylic medium that is 100% acrylate and may be added to Creall Poster paint or used neat. When added to Creall poster paint it transforms it into an extremely versatile acrylic paint that adheres to almost any surface and is waterproof. Multimedium also gives gloss and transparency to poster paint.
When used neat it dries to a clear solid finish and is ideal for glueing, glazing and varnishing. Works as a strong adhesive and is excellent for embedding and adhereing items such as shells, beads, buttons and so on onto solid and porous surfaces including wood, canvas, card, etc.
