Fine Art Painting & Printing Supplies

We offer premium quality brands of painting and printing supplies for fine art, schools, home, leisure and professional.  The core of our fine art range includes Oil, acrylic, watercolour and gouache paints.  It also extends to drawing inks, lino printing inks, acrylic inks and graphics materials.  Painting surfaces include canvasses, canvas panels, fine art papers, painting mediums, fine art brushes and accessories.

We source our fine art paints from International and European fine art companies such as Caran D’Ache, Faber Castell, Staedtler, Rosa of Ukraine, Winsor & Newton, Blockx of Belgium, Liquitex and Royal Talens of Holland.  Of equally high quality are our hobby and leisure paint ranges, sourced from highly reputable art companies that include such brands as Pebeo, Folk Art, Lefranc & Bourgeois and Creall of Holland.

The fine art paint brushes we stock are sourced from Richard Oliver Brushes of Ireland.  They include finest bristle and synthetic brushes in rounds, flats, filberts and riggers.  We offer many other choices of sythetic and natural brushes from a variety of makers in sets and loose stock in our Ennis shop and here online.

When using fine art colours it’s important to use good quality mediums also.  Oil mediums include solvents, drying oils and blending mediums.  Acrylic mediums include gloss and matte fluid and gel mediums, texture pastes, retarding mediums, gessos and structure mediums.  Choose appropriate good quality varnishes to give your work that finishing touch

All our stretched canvasses and canvas panels are triple primed, acid free and made from high quality medium grain cotton canvas and selected wooden stretchers.
